Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year Job Description: QHSE Manager Location: SS6, Rayleigh, Essex Company: Work Lyf Group (Recruiting on behalf of our client) Job Type: Full‑time Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:30 (30‑minute unpaid break) About the Role Work Lyf Group are recruiting for an experienced QHSE Manager to support a leading manufacturer within the window and door sector. This position plays a key role in maintaining and improving Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards across all operations. The role is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining QHSE management systems while promoting a strong culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities * Manage and maintain the * ISO 9001 Quality Management System * Lead internal audits, supplier assessments and external certification audits. * Ensure compliance with all UK Health & Safety legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. * Conduct risk assessments, site inspections and accident/near‑miss investigations. * Manage environmental systems aligned with ISO 14001 and support the development and maintenance of ISO 50001 energy management systems. * Drive sustainability, waste management and energy‑efficiency initiatives across the business. Skills & Experience * Proven experience in QHSE, Health & Safety, or Quality Management within a manufacturing environment. * Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and ISO standards. * Excellent communication, problem‑solving and leadership skills. * Ability to influence and promote a positive safety and quality culture. Qualifications * NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (essential). * IEMA or IOSH membership (desirable).
