Quantity Surveyor - Bristol | Hybrid | £48,000-£60,000 + Package A leading infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in Bristol. Operating across high-value national frameworks and capital programmes, this business delivers complex infrastructure projects across the utilities sector - offering long-term stability and genuine career progression. The Role Reporting to the Project Commercial Lead, you'll take full commercial ownership of a portfolio of projects on a high-profile utilities framework, with individual project values ranging from £5m to £15m. This is a role where you'll be given real autonomy - with the opportunity to make a genuine impact on project outcomes from early-stage cost planning through to final account. Key Responsibilities Prepare applications, valuations, and cost/value reconciliations (CVRs) Maintain cost control and forecasting across allocated packages Produce and analyse weekly and monthly commercial reports covering value, cost, and cash flow Manage supply chain engagement, negotiation, and performance Support risk and value management processes Administer NEC contracts and maintain accurate commercial records Lead subcontract procurement and contract setup Advise project teams on contractual and commercial matters Ensure compliance with project safety and quality requirements Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and client representativesWhat You'll Need Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent Proven main contractor experience Strong working knowledge of NEC3 or NEC4 forms of contractDesirable Experience in water, utilities, or regulated infrastructure Chartered (MRICS) or actively working towards chartershipWhat's on Offer Salary: £48,000-£60,000 (dependent on experience) Company car or car allowance of £4,800 Hybrid working (Bristol-based) 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (option to buy 5 additional days) Pension, life assurance, and private medical insurance Cycle-to-work scheme, employee discounts, and wellbeing initiatives Structured CPD and professional development support Long-term framework stability with a national contractorApply For a confidential conversation, contact Matt Clegg at Gold Group on (phone number removed) or apply directly via this advert.
