Local Care Limited is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the registration, launch and ongoing management of a brand-new 4-bed Ofsted-regulated children's home supporting young people aged 8-17 with EBD.
This is a unique opportunity to build a service from the ground up, recruit your own team and drive the home towards an Outstanding Ofsted rating.
Key Responsibilities
Register and open the home with Ofsted.
Lead, motivate and develop the staff team.
Ensure outstanding care and safeguarding for children.
Maintain compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
Build strong relationships with Local Authorities and external professionals.
Manage budgets, occupancy and service performance.
Essential Requirements
✔ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
✔ Experience within an Ofsted-regulated children's home
✔ Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children's legislation
✔ Experience leading staff teams and preparing for Ofsted inspections
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
