Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home (EBD)

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step into their first Registered Manager position to lead a well-established 3-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) home in the BS26 area.

Benefits

* Base salary of £46,202.89

* Opportunity to earn up to £53,402.89 through bonuses

* £2,000 annual car allowance

* 30 days annual leave including Bank Holidays

* Ofsted Bonus Scheme

* £1,000 for an ‘Outstanding’ inspection

* £500 for a ‘Good’ inspection

* On-Call Payments

* £10 per day (Monday–Friday)

* £50 per day (Saturday & Sunday)

* Occupancy Bonus

* £175 per child after the first placement

* Up to £350 per month in a fully occupied 3-bed home

About the Home

Candidate Requirements

* Experienced Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager seeking progression

* Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in a senior management position within Children's Residential Care

* Proven experience working within or managing Children's Residential Homes

* Demonstrable track record of contributing to Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspections (inspection reports under previous Registered Managers will be considered for Deputy Managers)

* Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent

* Hold or be actively working towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management

* Excellent understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations and quality standards

* Must be willing to travel to Dove's Head Office in Pontefract for management meetings and interviews

* Must live within a commutable distance of the home

* Any previous disciplinaries or failed fit-person applications must be declared

* Salary expectations should be in line with the advertised package and reflective of experience and knowledge
