These schools are focused on providing engaging learning environments where students are encouraged to develop their scientific knowledge, curiosity, and confidence.
We are recruiting a Science Teacher for day-to-day cover, with long-term placements available for the right Science Teacher. The successful Science Teacher will deliver curriculum-aligned lessons across KS3 and KS4, adapt teaching to different abilities, and maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement. This Science Teacher position offers the opportunity to experience different secondary school environments while building relationships with local schools.
The successful Science Teacher will have:
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
• Strong knowledge of the secondary Science curriculum
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to deliver engaging lessons to students of different abilities
• A confident, adaptable, and professional approach to teaching
