Teacher Vacancy – SEN School (Bournemouth)] We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join our specialist school in Bournemouth. Our school supports pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people within a supportive and inclusive learning environment. About the Role As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver engaging and personalised learning experiences that support pupils’ academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and independence. You will work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to ensure every pupil receives the support they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs Create a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor pupil progress Work closely with support staff, therapists, and external professionals Encourage positive behaviour and support pupils’ social and emotional development Maintain clear communication with parents and carers The Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (desirable but not essential) Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and behaviour support Patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting young people with additional needs Excellent communication and teamwork skills What We Offer A supportive and collaborative staff team Ongoing professional development and SEN training A rewarding role where you can make a genuine impact Competitive salary and benefits package If you are passionate about inclusive education and want to help young people achieve their potential, we would love to hear from you.
