Senior Billing Specialist
Hybrid (London) | £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE) + Bonus We’re supporting a well-established, international business as they look to hire a Senior Billing Specialist into their London-based team. This isn’t a transactional billing role. You’ll take ownership of a complex, international billing portfolio, working directly with senior stakeholders and managing the full lifecycle from contract through to invoice. If you enjoy autonomy, stakeholder interaction, and working on more complex revenue streams, this is a strong step up. The role You’ll be responsible for: * Managing end-to-end billing across an international client base * Reviewing contracts and setting up billing structures at project outset * Partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure accuracy and commercial alignment * Producing invoices across a mix of standard, electronic, and complex billing arrangements * Monitoring and managing WIP, billing schedules, and revenue flow * Handling multi-currency invoicing and cross-border considerations * Acting as a key point of contact for billing queries and issue resolution * Supporting and guiding junior team members where needed What they’re looking for * Proven experience in full-cycle / full-charge billing * Background in professional services, consulting, legal, or similar environments * Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with senior individuals * Experience with e-billing platforms and complex client requirements * High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines * Strong Excel and systems capability (any major ERP or billing system beneficial) * Exposure to international or multi-currency billing would be advantageous Why this role stands out * Genuine ownership of your own portfolio * Exposure to a global, multi-entity environment * A role that blends billing, commercial awareness, and stakeholder engagement * Less process, more thinking and problem-solving * A supportive, collaborative team without heavy hierarchy The person You’ll likely be someone who: * Enjoys taking responsibility rather than just processing * Is naturally organised and detail-driven * Communicates confidently with senior stakeholders * Takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work If you’re currently in a billing or revenue-focused role and want something with more visibility, complexity, and ownership, this is well worth a conversation
