Kenna Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading main contractor to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major mixed-use residential development in North West London Outside IR35.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a scheme from procurement stage, offering circa 3 years of secured work on a high-profile project.
The Project
* New build residential towers
* 180 units – affordable & build-to-rent private apartments
* Mixed-use scheme including communal amenity spaces and ground floor commercial units
* Gateway approved – ready to progress
The Role
Reporting into a Commercial Manager, you will take a leading role in the commercial delivery of the project from procurement through to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing subcontractor procurement and package buyout
* Preparing and managing cost reports and forecasts
* Leading valuations, variations, and change control
* Administering and managing JCT Design & Build contracts
* Driving commercial performance and managing project risk
* Working closely with delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor
* Strong track record on large-scale residential schemes
* Experience working on JCT Design & Build forms of contract
* Ability to commercially manage packages independently
* Experience on mixed-use or high-rise residential projects advantageous
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
