SITE MANAGER NEEDED IN WESTBURY*** We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Site Manager to oversee a key modular construction project at Westbury Depot, working for a Principal Contractor. This is an 18-bay modular scheme adjacent to a live railway line, requiring a confident, client-facing professional with strong safety, quality, and coordination experience. Westbury Start: 6th March 2026 Duration: Until Early July 2026 Pay-£280 Project Overview 18-bay modular installation Groundworks phase followed by modular delivery and internal fit-out Adjacent to live railway infrastructure Highways standard works Strong focus on safety and compliance Key Responsibilities Managing all site operations from groundworks through to fit-out Overseeing delivery and installation of welfare and modular units Ensuring strict compliance with health & safety standards (particularly working adjacent to live rail infrastructure) Managing quality assurance and documentation via online systems Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring programme deadlines are met Acting as the primary client-facing representative on site Liaising with Network Rail representatives and stakeholders Essential Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager on groundworks and modular/building projects Experience working adjacent to live railway lines (Network Rail environment highly desirable) Strong knowledge of highways standard works SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), First Aid Excellent IT skills – confident managing safety and quality via digital systems Strong communication and leadership skills Highly organised with a proactive approach to problem-solving Desirable Previous experience as Principal Contractor representative Network Rail competencies (PTS advantageous) This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong, hands-on Site Manager who thrives in technically sensitive environments and can confidently lead from the front on safety, quality, and client liaison.
