Apply NowOur client is actively looking for a commercially driven and inspirational Store Manager. We are seeking a dynamic Store Manager to take full ownership of the day-to-day running of a busy, high-turnover branch. You will be a visible leader on the shop floor, responsible for driving sales performance, maximizing profitability, and creating an exceptional shopping experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities:

Take full accountability for the store’s financial performance, managing P&L, wage budgets, and driving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion, ATV (Average Transaction Value), and UPT (Units Per Transaction).
*
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Retail Assistants to deliver outstanding customer service.
*
Conduct regular team training, performance reviews, and manage the recruitment and onboarding of new store staff.
*
Ensure high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation are maintained in line with company guidelines.
*
Manage stock control, inventory processes, and minimize shrinkage/loss.
*
Ensure the store fully complies with all Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
What Our Client is Looking For:

Proven experience as a Store Manager, Branch Manager, or Senior Deputy Manager within a fast-paced retail environment.
*
A strong commercial mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and managing KPIs.
*
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coach, engage, and inspire a diverse team.
*
A true passion for customer service and the ability to lead by example on the shop floor.
*
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities in a busy retail setting.
*
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, in line with retail trading hours
