Structural CAD Technician

The Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Technician to join our team. You will work closely with our structural engineers to produce accurate technical drawings and models for a variety of projects. Key Responsibilities of this Structural Technician role: Produce structural drawings and details using AutoCAD (and/or Revit where applicable) Assist engineers in developing structural design solutions Prepare general arrangement drawings, reinforcement details, and structural layouts Coordinate drawings with architects and other consultants Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and project requirements Maintain drawing registers and document control where required Requirements of this Structural Technician role: Experience working as a Structural Technician within an engineering consultancy Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience is advantageous) Good understanding of structural detailing for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber Ability to interpret engineering sketches and calculations Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Desirable HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering (or similar) Experience on UK building projects and familiarity with UK standards What We Offer Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunities for professional development and training Exposure to a wide range of interesting projects How to Apply If you are a skilled Structural Technician looking to develop your career within a friendly and growing consultancy, we would love to hear from you.
