The Role
As a Support Worker, you will:
Provide high-quality, person-centred support
Work closely with individuals to understand their needs, goals, and aspirations
Encourage independence and personal development
Deliver compassionate care while managing challenges with patience and understanding

About the Service
Sherwood House is a newly refurbished service featuring 12 self-contained, one-bedroom apartments located in the heart of Stone, close to local amenities and transport links.
For many individuals, this will be their first opportunity to live semi-independently and develop essential life skills. This creates a meaningful opportunity for Support Workers to positively impact people’s lives while helping to build a strong, supportive team environment.
What We’re Looking For
Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
A genuine passion for making a difference
Self-motivated, empathetic, and adaptable individuals
Creativity and initiative within a care setting
Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs and challenging behaviours (through work or personal experience)
