JOB TITLE - Teaching Assistant ABOUT THE SCHOOL Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School located in East Bristol. The school has a supportive team environment and offers ongoing CPD opportunities throughout the year. Depending on performance, the school may look to extend the contract or offer a permanent position. CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS Location: East Bristol Position: Teaching Assistant Full-Time: Monday to Friday Day Rate: £90 - £110 Hours: 8:20 am - 3:30 pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Mandatory: Previous childcare experience Experience supporting children in a school setting is desirable Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year (or willing to complete) Experience or interest in Special Educational Needs (SEN), including: Autism Speech & Language Needs Strong command of English Experience within healthcare settings would be advantageous TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold the Right to Work in the UK Hold an Enhanced Child Barred List DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one Be able to provide 24 months of professional references, including child-related experienceIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
