A Local Authority in South West London is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to support the delivery of a range of highways and transportation projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on meaningful schemes that directly impact the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake allocated projects, tasks, and functions across Traffic, Parking, Transport, and Highway Services
Deliver projects from inception through to completion, including feasibility studies, design work, CAD drawings, and technical reporting
Manage the full project lifecycle, including raising orders, supervising contractors, and processing invoices
Ensure all work meets required targets, quality standards, and complies with relevant legislation, TfL requirements, and Local Authority policies
Requirements:
Proven experience in traffic engineering or highways-related projects
Ability to manage multiple projects independently from design through to delivery
Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and best practices
Competency in CAD and technical reporting
Working Arrangements:
Hybrid working
Must be able to attend the office in South West London 3 days per week
