As a leading provider of secure document destruction, we are on the lookout for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. If you’re ready to take on a role where every day presents a new challenge and you play a crucial part in our mission to ensure confidentiality and security, then this is the job for you!  As a Warehouse Operative, you will be at the heart of our operation, ensuring that waste materials are processed efficiently and safely. Your role is vital in maintaining the smooth running of our warehouse environment, adhering to safety standards, and keeping our machinery in top shape. You will be a key player in providing a secure, reliable service to our customers, working both independently and as part of a team.  Key Responsibilities: Load and unload confidential paper and materials from vehicles with precision and care Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly checks on shredding and baling machinery to ensure optimal performance  Operate shredding and baling machinery safely, adhering to all compliance standards  Report any machinery or equipment defects to minimize production downtime  Follow manual handling procedures to ensure safety during lifting and manoeuvring  Maintain a clean and organized work area to boost operational efficiency  Use counterbalance Forklift Truck or JCB Telehandler Truck safely in a bustling environment  Assist with collections from customer sites as needed  About you: A commitment to high Health and Safety standards  Numerate and literate with excellent verbal communication skills  Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently  Flexibility and resilience under pressure  Experience with FLT Counterbalance or JCB Telehandler is required  Confidential wastepaper or recycling experience is a plus, but we provide full training  First Aid and Fire Marshall certifications are desirable but not necessary Some of our benefits include:  Annual Leave – 23 days + bank holidays  Life Assurance – 2x basic annual salary Bereavement Counselling – Support during difficult times Free Onsite Parking Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) – Confidential counselling via Health Assured Eye Care Support – Free eye tests and up to £70 towards glasses for DSE users and drivers (includes retinal photography for drivers over 40) About The Company Restore Commitment to Disability Confidence  We assess candidates based on their experience and suitability for the role, as outlined in their CV and application.
