Working Supervisor – Responsive Repairs 📍 Location: High Wycombe or Central London (within 20-mile radius) 💰 Salary: £45K Vehicle Van/ Car allowance 🕓 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Working Supervisor to oversee responsive repairs activities across housing or MOD contracts. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who can lead from the front while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety. You will be responsible for supervising day-to-day repairs, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard, while also stepping in to carry out repairs where required. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and support operatives carrying out responsive repairs * Lead by example with a strong focus on health & safety compliance * Diagnose and carry out a range of repairs across your core trade * Ensure works are completed on time and to the required quality standards * Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal teams professionally * Support out-of-hours service delivery on a rota basis (including weekends) About You * SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) – essential * Strong trade background with hands-on experience in responsive repairs * Previous experience within: * Responsive repairs * Voids * Housing association / local authority / MOD contracts * Confident in diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues independently * Demonstrates clear leadership and a proactive approach on site * Excellent communication and organisational skills Requirements * Must live within a 20-mile radius of either High Wycombe or London * Full, clean UK driving licence * Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours rota (including weekends) What’s on Offer * £45K Vehicle Van/ Car allowance * Stability within a well-established contract * Opportunity to progress within a growing team
