Architectural Technician (All levels) - Northampton - £Neg Our client is a RIBA chartered design-led architectural practice specialising in high-end luxurious residential builds and education buildings. Their work combines thoughtful design with technical precision and pride themselves on delivering high-quality, detailed drawing packages for discerning clients. The Role A skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technician is sought to join a growing team. You will play a key role in producing accurate, high-quality technical drawings and supporting the delivery of projects from concept through to construction. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a close-knit studio environment where your contribution will have a direct impact on the success of each project. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction packages using AutoCAD * Develop and coordinate drawing information across all project stages * Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards * Liaise with architects, consultants, and contractors * Assist with planning and building regulations submissions * Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction Requirements * UK Architectural experience within an Architectural practice environment. * Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) * Understanding of building construction, detailing, and regulations * Experience working on residential and/or education projects * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills * Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in a small team environment * Good personality, someone who is outgoing, approachable, positive and enthusiastic Desirable * Experience with planning applications and tender packages * Strong communication and client-facing skills On Offer * Opportunity to work on bespoke, high-quality projects * For junior level applicants ongoing training and professional qualification path supported * Supportive and collaborative studio environment * Career development within a growing practice * Competitive salary and flexible working options
