Major Recruitment are recruiting an Assistant Credit Controller for a well-established manufacturer based in New Mills. This is a permanent role from day one, ideal for someone looking to build or continue a career in credit control and finance. Duties include: * Assisting with the management and collection of outstanding customer balances * Reviewing aged debt and chasing payments * Allocating payments to the sales ledger * Carrying out new customer credit checks and due diligence * Setting up and maintaining credit terms * Raising and monitoring credit notes * Supporting month-end processes and reporting * Providing general office support when required Salary: £25,000 per annum Hours: * Monday –Thursday : 8:30am–4:30pm * Friday: 9:00am–4:30pm The ideal candidate: * Has strong attention to detail * Works well as part of a team * Has good computer skills * Communicates confidently and professionally * Is organised, self-motivated, and able to multitask * Office or finance experience desirable but not essential * Willing to learn and develop What’s on offer: * Permanent position * Competitive salary * Friendly and supportive working environment * Excellent opportunity for development Apply now with your CV to be considered.
