Electrical Construction Manager 📍 Location: Cambridge 💼 Contract / Permanent | Competitive Day Rate / Salary We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join a major £200m construction project. This is a key leadership role on a flagship development, responsible for managing electrical packages from installation through to commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage all electrical construction activities on site * Oversee subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are delivered in line with programme * Drive health & safety standards and ensure full compliance across all electrical works * Coordinate with project management, engineering, and other trades to ensure seamless delivery * Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain programme targets * Manage QA processes, inspections, and commissioning activities * Attend and contribute to site meetings, reporting on progress and performance * Ensure all documentation, RAMS, and permits are in place and adhered to Requirements: * Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager on large-scale construction projects * Strong background managing electrical packages on complex developments * SMSTS (essential) * CSCS Card (Black or equivalent preferred) * Strong knowledge of installation, commissioning, and handover processes * Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills * Ability to drive programme and manage multiple stakeholders What’s on Offer: * Opportunity to work on a flagship £200m project * Competitive day rate / salary * Long-term opportunity on a high-profile scheme * Collaborative, high-performing project team
