KS2 SEN Teacher – SEN School Location: Redhill Start Date: ASAP / September Start Available Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only A specialist SEN school in Redhill is seeking a dedicated and experienced KS2 SEN Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with additional needs in a structured and supportive learning environment. About the Role As a KS2 SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and highly differentiated lessons to pupils with a range of special educational needs, ensuring every child can access learning and achieve their potential. Key responsibilities include: * Planning and delivering adapted KS2 lessons to meet individual learning needs * Supporting pupils with SEN such as Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, and learning difficulties * Creating a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment * Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff to deliver personalised learning * Monitoring and assessing pupil progress against EHCP targets and learning outcomes * Implementing strategies to support positive behaviour and emotional regulation * Working collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists, and parents Requirements * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential * Experience teaching KS2 * Previous experience working in a SEN school or with pupils with additional needs * Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills * Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) What’s on Offer * ASAP start or September start available * Small class sizes with strong support staff * Supportive leadership and experienced SEN team * Opportunities for professional development and training * Long-term or permanent opportunities available
