We're seeking a PMO Governance & Assurance Lead to play a critical role within a major programme operating in a complex BPO environment. You will own and drive governance, assurance, and Stage-Gate controls-ensuring all delivery meets the highest standards of quality, compliance, and contractual acceptance.
This is a key leadership role and a vital enabler of successful programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Own and implement the programme governance framework across all workstreams
Lead Stage-Gate reviews, ensuring deliverables meet quality, evidence, and contractual standards
Oversee deliverable tracking, validation, and acceptance sign-off
Embed BPO contract requirements (SLAs, KPIs, milestones) into governance processes
Conduct assurance reviews, audits, and compliance checks, driving corrective actions
Provide senior-level reporting and act as escalation point for governance issues
Promote a culture of quality, control, and accountability across the PMO
Experience Required
Strong background in PMO governance or assurance leadership roles
Experience within BPO / outsourcing environments (transition or transformation programmes)
Deep understanding of Stage-Gate processes, programme controls, and RAID management
Knowledge of SLAs, KPIs, service acceptance, and payment-linked milestones
Excellent stakeholder management, including senior leadership and client-side PMOs
